If you add your desktop (or even just the center of it) as a source, chances are, XSplit Broadcaster will
also show up on the stage. This is because XSplit Broadcaster captures layered windows (windows that
appear on top of each other).
You can prevent XSplit Broadcaster window from appearing on your stage by following the
instructions here:
1. Open the Settings Window
Click on Tools >> Settings.
2. Disable Capture of Layered Windows
Click on the General Tab then check the box called "Disable capture of layered windows" and
"Hide XSplit from screen capture". Then click OK to save the changes.
XSplit Broadcaster should no longer appear in the stage when you add your desktop.
Note: The effect of disabling the capturing of layered windows does not stop at hiding the XSplit
Broadcaster window; What will happen now is only the window behind XSplit Broadcaster will be
shown on the stage.
If you want to restore capturing of layered windows, simply clear the box called
"Disable capture of layered windows" and click OK.
