This entry shows you how to capture movie clips smoothly in XSplit Broadcaster. Note that what is
being referred to here is screen capture of movie and video files, not adding a movie clip or video file
directly using the Add Media feature.
Normally, the way XSplit Broadcaster detects changes in screen captures is it listens to an event
and then updates itself from there to show a certain source properly. It’s different when it comes to
screen captures of movie/video clips. This is where “optimizing for motion pictures” comes in. Here’s
how to do it:
1. Right-click your Screen Source
Go to your stage and then right click your screen source
2. Uncheck Optimize for Non Motion Picture
Uncheck the “Optimize for non-motion picture” checkbox and that’s it
