Start Broadcasting!

This entry shows how you would start broadcasting, test your broadcast and stop your

broadcasting session in XSplit Broadcaster.

1. Start Broadcasting!

Before starting to broadcast, do make sure that your microphone and speaker capture

are set to your desired settings.

Click on Broadcast >> JustinTV - your_channel's_name.

You'll see that the title bar changes to "XSplit Broadcaster - Streaming" and you will get

a notification in the system tray (usually found in the lower right corner of your screen)

that says the link to your channel has been copied to the clipboard for easy sharing.

Tip: Wondering on how to use transition effects? You can only see them when you are switching from one scene to another. To try them out, add sources to both Scene 1 and Scene 2 and, while broadcasting, switch between Scene1 and Scene 2.

2. Test Your Broadcast

Open your browser and visit your channel in Justin.TV. You should see the sources

you defined in your Viewport.

In case you don't see anything, please go over steps one, two and three again

carefully to make sure nothing was skipped/missed.

3. End Your Broadcast

Click on Broadcast >> JustinTV - your_channel's_name to stop streaming to

the selected channel.

And that's all there is to it! But if you want to get  into it and become an XSplit Broadcasting

Expert - one who knows how to optimize presentations for text resizing, how to use broadcaster

as a virtual camera, and do lots of other tricks - then click here.
